Since 2006, design has been the influencer in my career. I started as an Interior Designer at Nordon, then moved into training designers at Configura, and finally followed my design nose to Minneapolis where I worked at Fluid Interiors on the business development team. All of those experiences have been within my design wheelhouse. A new role at CBRE, outside of my design-comfort zone, emerged. The job did not exist before; it was created with me in mind. At CBRE, I was on very well established team of tenant representation brokers leading the charge in business development efforts. This was fabulous experience and created a very well rounded perspective on the market-- and how difficult it is for furniture dealerships to win from the other side of the table! Silent T Consulting is the culmination of all of my experience. I help furniture manufacturers and dealerships in the adoption of CET. Traditionally, adoption of CET only impacts the designer. I believe management, sales, design should all be involved in the process together to achieve true success!
