I trained and managed seasonal field technicians to perform data collection protocols within time sensitive sampling windows. I organized and conducted outreach events with stakeholders, researchers and the public. I reviewed and updated NEON climate dataset tutorials in Python and R, and led R-coding workshops with colleagues. I interacted with monitoring tools to view visualizations & graphs depicting sensor health of automated systems. I operated, maintained and troubleshooted meteorological sensors, soil sensors, water quality sensors, data loggers, IRGAs and other gas analyzers used to measure CO2, water, and energy flux.

La Crosse, Wisconsin

A federal government directed ecological study looking at an invasive species of reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea) and its effects on hydrology, forest structures and migratory songbird species. I collected quantitative data on bird and plant species and transferred them to an online database.

Eau Claire, Wisconsin Area

A state-government funded forestry management research study looking at the impacts of logging and its effect on bird communities. I monitored plants and birds at survey sites and performed data management.

Jookjeon, Gyeonggi-Do, South Korea

I instructed content-based English lessons in Science, Math, and Social Studies to elementary-aged at a private English immersion school based in Seoul. I prepared lesson plans for 5-8 classes/day and drafted detailed monthly progress reports for over 50 students.
