My name is Alexandra, though most people call me Alix. I'm a Bay Area Creative Director with 15+ years of experience in the industry. I'm currently a Creative Director at Facebook and Instagram's Creative Shop with a focus on fashion and luxury brands.Prior to that, I spent over five years at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners working on clients that included HP, Frito-Lay, Elizabeth Arden and Adobe. During my time there, Goodby won Agency of the Year three times, Digital Agency of the Year (both Ad Age and Cannes), and AdWeek's Agency of the Decade. I love cause related campaigns, in particular those that support women and young girls. One of my favorites was a PSA project for Verizon. Our “Inspire Her Mind” TV spot went viral overnight (reaching 3.4 mill views in under 24 hrs) landing on the front page of Huffington Post, Reddit, Mashable and Adweek and became a lead story on both Good Morning America and The Today Show.I consider myself a storyteller and extremely visual creative. I have a passion for beautiful design and photography and believe every project is an opportunity to have fun and create something engaging.I love nurturing young talent and was a founding mentor of the Goodby Innovation Lab, have been a guest lecturer at Stanford University and spoken at many conferences, including WORLDZ and the ALT Design Summit.Less related (but more fun) I'm a member of the San Francisco Devil-Ettes—a synchronized 60s go-go dance group. I'm a bright color junkie and a confirmed maximalist, who is obsessed with midcentury design and thrifting. I've collected vintage clothing and furniture for over a decade. It's a bit of a problem.
