Selected as a member of USC Blackstonians, a pre-law honor society that recognizes academic excellence in undergraduate students and strives to expand their knowledge and perceptions of the legal profession.

Fall 2023: Selected for a competitive, semester-long study group led by former California State Controller and 2026 California gubernatorial candidate Betty Yee titled “Good Governance: The Antidote to California’s Challenges." Learned about the meaning of good governance, its relationship to protecting our democracy, and the role each of us can continue to have in driving good governance. Collectively identified the components of our 21st century good governance playbook and created our own submissions for it.Spring 2024: Selected for a competitive, semester-long study group led by Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action, the nation’s largest grassroots group fighting against gun violence. This series will explain in detail how to build a sustainable, effective grassroots movement that can take on powerful special interests, and how people can take those learnings to build or bolster social change in their own communities.

Selected as a legal intern through a joint application process by the Pre-Law Project under USC's Joint Educational Project and Bet Tzedek Legal Services. Bet Tzedek provides free comprehensive legal services, education, and policy advocacy to low-income individuals and families across Los Angeles County.Responsible for: - Conducting pre-screening assessments to determine legal assistance and representation of potential clients - Assisting in identifying callers’ legal issues and eligibility for legal services - Maintaining an accurate database

- Assume responsibilities of a copy editor: edit and review articles for AP Style, grammar, spelling and clarity in two 1.5 hour shifts- Additionally, responsible for leading teams of two to three copy editors each shift, and for copy editing all breaking news on assigned shift day

- Responsible for confirming information and sources and editing articles only based on grammar and the rules listed within the Daily Trojan and AP Style Guides

- Contributed articles to Los Angeles Times High School Insider; topics include Asian American representation in the Olympics, mental health, and the dangers of misinformation.
