Hi! I'm Alex. Currently a first-year student at Sarah Lawrence College, my biggest strengths and passions lie in my love for performing arts and community engagement or service, fields I hope to explore as I enter the professional world.Hard-working, conscientious, and kind, I poured myself into almost every theatrical opportunity available to me in high school, and acted as a tri-head leader of our afternoon theater program. As a result of my dedication, I was recently awarded the Vassar Book Award for Excellence in Theatrical Performance or Technical Theater! Empathetic, personable, and positive, I have happily devoted myself to getting involved in each community I find myself a part of, volunteering at summer camps, theaters, and local events, and sometimes creating new communities for myself in the process. For my work with Ben's Lighthouse, I was honored with a Ben's Lighthouse Mentorship Award in 2024.Moving forward into my college career, I hope to learn as much as possible through as many new and creative experiences as possible, and am excited, enthusiastic, and ready to get started :)
