Delivering the new COVID-19 Vaccination Deployment Programme, working as part of the Regional Lead Employer Team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. My role is to develop a pool of trained vaccinators to be deployed within community pharmacy and primary care hubs across the region.

To lead and provide line management to a team of HR Administrators to ensure the provision of a high quality HR administration and support service to all CGL staff.Within this role, I manage the day to day running of the HR service and act as a subject matter expert and decision/escalation point for complex queries regarding recruitment, payroll, benefits, on-boarding and other associated transactions. I am able to build and maintain meaningful working relationships with senior stakeholders and work closely with other support teams (Payroll, Legal, IT, Facilities) to ensure timely and efficient provision of the HR administration service. The role involves consistent monitoring of data to ensure quality/ audit processes are followed, providing the HR manager with adequate and regular data on the results of these processes and actions being taken.

To support the HR Operations team to implement high quality HR practices and provide a range of managers with advice, guidance and solutions, to enable them to achieve organisational goals and meet their responsibilities to the people they manage. Within this role, I provided advice and guidance to directors, managers and staff on a variety of HR issues, seeking to ensure that good employment practices were followed at all times. The role included advising managers on issues relating to discipline, grievance, performance management, sickness absence and family-friendly entitlements, ensuring that individual cases were progressed in a fair consistent manner and in line with legislation.The role involved the continual implementation of HR policies and procedures, promoting good HR practice throughout the organisation.

As part of my degree I completed a 12 month internship with Enterprise Rent a Car. The position I held was varied and diverse, allowing me to capture experience of marketing, accounting, logistics, sales, strategic planning and HR. Exceptional customer service was at the forefront of operations and the importance of this was recognised daily when building relationships with new customers and maintaining expectations of existing customers.
