Interned over 20 hours a week helping to launch a small, women-owned business focused on uplifting the community. Duties included extensive social media planning, digital media marketing, graphic design, community outreach, canvassing, and event planning. The first company event was to organize over 100 local businesses to participate in a scavenger hunt for ticket buyers, create marketing on Facebook, Instagram, distribute flyers, and advertise using traditional and social media methods. The event sold over 120 tickets and the content has reached an audience of over 4,000 digitally. In addition, acted as a liaison between business owners, CEO and clients daily.

Research intern that undertook research and business development efforts for potential opportunities in U.S. Election Compliance. Responsibilities included online research, personal communication, and academic inquires using legal, open-source data from accredited sources. Published three white papers about voting in the United States. Attended the virtual National Secretaries of State Conference and the National Associate of State Election Directors. Was in contact with secretaries of state, election officials, and government officials to communicate business opportunities for election compliance.

Assisted with daily tasks such as analysing and transcribing interviews, organizing events and drafting public relations exercises, including press releases. Created briefs for companies, edited and proofed subjective calendars and worked on new company proposals. Established an increased comprehension of Brandwatch programme and Office systems, such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Volunteered at the teen center as a part of a Community-Based Learning course on the Latino Community of the D.C. Metro Area. Field Intern, 20 hours a week, for a non-partisan organization which supports candidates whose mission is to remove voter restrictions. Work included canvassing up to 125 people per day. Work required an in-depth understanding of local politics, attending events and surrogate visits from candidates, and creating efficiencies. This included assisting in organizing a campaign office, creating folders for volunteers, entering data into voter databases, and streamlining interactions with multitudes of volunteers.
