About Alexandra Teixeira
I am passionate about working on social inclusion, environmental and climate justice. I have worked in various sectors (government, think-tank, university, International Organization, and NGOs) in advocacy, research, communication, multisectoral partnerships, design, and supervision of international funding projects. I have a Master's degree in International Policy Analysis and Management (MAPI) from PUC-Rio (2019), focusing on South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC). I graduated from the same institution in International Relations (2010), where I had the opportunity to do an exchange program at the University of California (UC) Berkeley in Mediation and Conflict Resolution.Since 2019, I have been working as a consultant for the United Nations' International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), promoting rural development for the most vulnerable communities in the Brazilian semiarid (sertão) and contributing to the achievement of poverty reduction (SDG 1) and zero hunger (SDG 2).
