My passion for the food industry comes from my childhood. I grew up within a farming family and neighborhood. From a young age, I have had hands on experience raising animals, such as hogs and beef cattle, and processing our own meat. Farm to table is an important industry concept that is very close to my heart for that reason. My passions lies within Baking and Pastry, but also culinary arts and food service management. I aspire to gain industry experience in all aspects of the food world, including baking and pastry, culinary, and management. My ultimate goal is to own and operate a bakery and cafe after college.
