Hello! My name is Alexandra Herrera, and I am a soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor’s in university studies, with a focus on preparing for a career in social work. Through my academic journey I have built and continue to build an understanding of communication, community support, cultural competency, problem solving and critical thinking. My career goals are to complete all necessary requirements to become a social worker. I have chosen this profession because I have a passion for working with children and families to help create a positive and safeenvironment. I’m passionate about creating positive change and ensuring that individuals and families have theresources and support they need to thrive. I’m eager to apply my skills, empathy and dedication to social work roles that help make a meaningful difference.
