Alexandra Elliot, Ph.D. is the director of Bridges Academy Austin. She is also a licensed psychologist, certified reading specialist, special education teacher, and classroom teacher with 25 years of experience. She specializes in dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and gifted/twice exceptional (2e). Dr. Elliot pursued her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a Concentration in Neuropsychology to gain expertise in the diagnosis and correction of learning issues and executive functioning disorders. She has presented her research on working memory training and learning disorders at the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the International Literacy Association, and other national conferences.
