I am a Registered Dietitian and owner of The Peachy RD, where I provide nutrition education specializing in mental health nutrition for clients and employees through workplace wellness workshops. ABOUT MEI am a proud University of Guelph graduate with a Masters of Applied Human Nutrition and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition. I am a creative mind with a passion for delicious food and translating evidence-based nutrition information into digestible nutrition education and practical strategies to help Canadians live well and improve their mental health. I love dogs, the outdoors, and being active, leading me to move to Vancouver BC from Ontario to pursue a lifestyle I love. I am a bit obsessed with all things health and wellness, and love trying new activities and traveling whenever I get the chance. My background as a Dietitian is in nutrition education and communications, client counseling, food industry, social media & tech. Throughout my career as a dietitian, I have had the unique experience of developing skills in marketing and working with various tech platforms. I first started my career as a dietitian in retail working for Loblaw Companies Limited where I first developed my specialty in mental health, offering 1-1 nutrition counseling, workplace wellness presentations, and cooking classes. I then moved on to a role at Gordon Food Service with the Nutrition Resource Centre as an Innovation Specialist developing targeted marketing resources and communications for the healthcare and senior living sector. From there I transitioned into the role of Nutrition and Technology Specialist with the NRC, managing daily operations, projects, and training for their menu software Cycle Menu Management. Through both roles at GFS, I gave many presentations on nutrition topics, including speaking at the Together We Care Conference on Elevating the Resident Dining Experience. Most recently I worked as a Fraîche Table Product Specialist for Fraîche Living, where I worked collaboratively alongside the team in maintaining the quality and success of the platform by executing weekly meal plans, marketing initiatives, managing customer service, editing recipes, writing and editing blog posts, and other daily operations while contributing to the growth and innovation of the platform. For most of my career as a dietitian, I have also worked part-time as a nutrition communications consultant mainly with Spark Nutrition Communications offering nutrition communications and marketing support, resource development, and social media management.
