Federal Relations Business Development• Create and drive business development outreach plan for federal in conjunction with senior manager that is evaluated on a quarterly basis.• Develop strategic relationships with our current federal partners to expand funded internship placements for students• Manage and support all phases of the federal proposal development and new business process• Assist in all proposal development in response to client requests for information including: quotes, RFP/RFI, surveys, new business materials and presentation documents• Coordinate logistics for new business pitches• Support educational outreach events twice a year to create a network of federal internship partner• Liaise with the Office of Communications to develop and implement the marketing and public relations strategies to increase TWC’s visibility with the federal government and other potential internship sitesPuerto Rico Government, University and Private Sector Relations • Negotiate, secure and implement TWC’s cooperative agreement with the Office of Legislative Services in Puerto Rico and the Department of State of Puerto Rico • Manage and maintain relationships with Puerto Rican government officials responsible for delivering TWC programs.• Serve as TWC’s lead representative the public, private and education sectors in Puerto Rico.• Liaise with AIP and the Program Advisor, Cordova & Fernos to ensure all program requirements are adequately delivered.• Partner with Institutional Advancement to assist in raising annual funding for the Cordova & Fernos Internship Program.
