Senior Strategy Consultant Summer Intern

As a Project Manager for the Corporate Healthcare Team at Guidepoint, my responsibilities include:• Managing 16 Fortune 500 client corporations in the Corporate Healthcare sector (pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, life sciences, and healthcare consulting companies)• Assisting clients with their research proposals by sourcing and vetting key industry experts, consisting of esteemed medical professionals and C-level executives in target spaces• Tailoring each project’s execution strategy to effectively service my clients’ research needs• Professionally communicating with my clients regarding project needs, details, execution, and timeline in order to effectively deliver expert insights and high-quality results• Specializing in projects focused on medical disease, pharmaceutical market access, drug pricing & reimbursement, and healthcare industry trends• Collaborating with a team of 20 individuals to successfully deliver personalized results for each project

As an Associate for the Corporate Healthcare Team at Guidepoint, my responsibilities include:• Researching and identifying the leading doctors, C-level executives, scientists, etc. for expert networking consultations with Fortune 500 clients in the Corporate Healthcare sector (pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies)• Analyzing press releases, scientific publications, and market trends along with becoming well-versed in the varying roles, responsibilities and purposes of corporations, professional positions, doctors, and current research in the healthcare industry to identify top talent for projects• Collaborating with clients regarding key market trends in the industry and innovation directions and strategies• Effectively and professionally communicating with leading healthcare professionals globally regarding their past, current, and future research and/or experiences in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or life sciences industry• Working on multiple projects at any given time and delivering professional and high-quality work on or before a client’s provided deadline

As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Emory Brain Health Center, I worked with Dr. Whitney Wharton and her research team. From 2016 - 2018, we worked on two NIH funded clinical research studies about Alzheimer's disease, ASCEND and HEART. As part of the research team, I helped recruit study participants, process spinal and blood specimen, and enter and analyze data. Aside from working on ASCEND and HEART, I conducted my own research on the interactions between sleep habits and patterns, and cognitive performance in participants at risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. My research and findings were presented at the Emory Undergraduate Research Symposium in April 2017.

Teach swim lessons for 1 hour, 2 nights during the week, to children ranging in age and skill. Mostly taught children ages 3-6 introductory swimming skills.Teach swim lessons for 6-8 hours on the weekends to children ranging in age and skill.
