Reported directly to USC's Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine to develop wireless health products, promote wireless health advances, execute trials and feasibility studies, and position USC as a leading academic incubation center for digital health. In my dual role at USC's Cardiology Division and the USC Center for Body Computing, I identified new collaborative corporate partners, directed projects relating to chronic disease management in addition to leading research efforts for feasibility studies and trials, and managed Center fundraising efforts. On behalf of the Center, I liaised prominently between USC’s Keck School of Medicine, Viterbi School of Engineering, and Marshall School of Business. Sample Research and Projects: *Secured $100,000 NFL Charities grant to study heart rate variability in collegiate football players; designed and coauthored professional poster presentation summarizing study results from analyzing EKGs transmitted to cloud for the Heart Rhythm Society *Led a significant research collaboration between the CBC, St. Jude Medical, and the Viterbi School of Engineering to create a mobile application for patients with advanced Heart Failure that received rave press reviews in Fast Company and other publications *Co-directed a prominent use case study with AliveCor during which Dr. Saxon identified several life-threatening arrhythmias in users.
