I designed and fabricated slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces for rapid cell deformation devices and biomolecular cargo delivery. As well, I worked on probing surface-interface interactions of self-assembled monolayers on gold surfaces, particularly how surface dipoles influence the alignment of liquid crystals.

I provided technology and marketing assessments to help determine the patentability and commercial value of UCLA-developed technologies, identified potential licensing companies, and helped draft non-confidential descriptions, marketing decks, and proof-of-concept pitch decks on technologies spanning both the physical and life sciences. As Senior Tech Fellow, I managed marketing materials created by Tech Fellows and drafted a monthly Collaborative Events Newsletter between the Technology Development Group, California NanoSystems Institute, UCLA Corporate Development, Start-Up UCLA, and the UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator.

Graduate student teaching assistant for general chemistry for undergraduate students at UCLA (specific courses: Chemistry 20A, 20B, 14B). Taught important concepts & strategies for problem solving during three discussion sections & two office hours per week.

Workshop Facilitator for the Health Careers Opportunity Program at SDSU. Tutored students in organic chemistry, provided example problems, quizzes, & practice exams as well as strategies to breakdown problems.
