I am a soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacramento State University, eager to launch my career in critical care nursing. With a strong background in emergency response and leadership, I am ready to apply my skills in a dynamic and challenging healthcare environment.My journey included attending UC Santa Cruz where I graduated Cum Laude in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a Minor in History. During my time there, I led a student-run EMT organization, honing my skills in prehospital-emergency medical care, leadership and team management. I successfully organized free CPR and bleeding control classes for UCSC students, securing the program funding through grant writing— showcasing my commitment to community health and education. As a Public Safety Dispatcher for both UC Santa Cruz PD and the County of El Dorado, I gained valuable experience in communication, critical thinking, and crisis management, ensuring community safety under immense pressure.I recently completed my preceptorship in the Surgical ICU at UC Davis Medical Center. I am actively seeking new graduate opportunities in critical care where I can leverage my commitment to patient care and my passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
