Alexandra Nikitenko is an architect and a founder of architectural and interior design studio Nikitenkoteam and a partner at architectural visualization studio HISM.She is a DAAD grant winner and graduate of the Dessau International Architecture School (DIA), Germany. Her professional experience varies from Kyiv (Zotov & Co) and Berlin (Christian Kerez AG and June14 Meyer-Grohbrügge & Chermayeff) to Tokyo (Junya.Ishigami + Associates). As part of the team Junya.Ishigami + Associates participated in the invited competition for a project of Gund Hall building extension, Harvard, GSD.Alexandra was a faculty member of the private institution Kharkiv School of Architecture (KhSA) for three years. She is a co-author of the KhSA BA curriculum. In 2019–2021, Alexandra worked as a Skills department curator and was a Studio tutor. In 2021 she became a curricula development counselor.Also, she is working as a volunteer senior architect for a project of a mobile housing unit for temporarily displaced people in Ukraine, named VSIMDIM.
