I got my dental assisting degree in 2020 and started my career with many internship opportunities after completion. I experienced general dentist offices, Oral surgeon assistant, Cosmetic dentistry, and Pediatric dental offices. I assisted with dental fillings, digital x-rays, digital scans, dental crowns/veneers, root canal treatment, Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF), coronal polishing of children, dental bridges, and implants. During my time in school I practiced dental materials. I practiced making mouth guards, bleaching trays, Alginate impressions, temporary crown, and dental amalgam etc. I was employed at Alexandria Pediatric Dentistry in a seasonal position. Currently, I am furthering my education by majoring in Public Health Promotion at Liberty University.
