My current position is divided into two roles: data manager and performance improvement coordinator. The driving focus of the data manager role; ensuring Ascension Providence data submitted quarterly to both National and State Quality Registries was accurate, high-quality data that best demonstrated our sites performance. My specific position focused on cardiac surgery, intervention cardiology & Structural Heart state and National quality Registries. Once identified, to ensure a thorough response a further investigation into the root cause would be completed via ‘deep dive’. This included but not limited to; chart audits, staff Interviews, shadowing, participant in multidisciplinary reviews, presenting findings and leading group discussions with formalmeetings. The role of a performance improvement coordinator directs the fore-mentioned information to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality improvement process.

Management of immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patient’s hemodynamic stabilization and extubation within a 4-hour time frame.Monitoring of Hemodynamic Parameters via Arterial lines, Intracranial Pressure lines, and Swan Ganz Catheters. Management of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD), Continuous Renal Replacement therapy (CRRT) and mechanical ventilationAssist with bedside Resternotomy, Cardioversion, Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, Intubations, Central line and Swan Ganz placement/monitoring, and post catheterization sheath removal.Management and monitoring of titration of multiple vasoactive, narcotic, sedative and paralytic drips
