As a Resident Assistant, I work with Residential Life to promote a community and resolve conflicts among around 40 residents that live on the floor for which I'm responsible for. Additionally, I organize and facilitate meetings and events and am responsible for insuring the safety of residents in my building cluster; which include almost 400 residents.

In this role, I ran weekly reports using Microsoft Excel to track and analyze unsettled purchase and repair orders for outsourced vehicle repairs in order to follow up on overdue payments, work orders, and inspection sheets. I also maintained national vendor accounts by reviewing and approving repair order estimates from US and Canada vendors, ensuring that company vehicles were getting timely preventative maintenance completed, and saving the company $10,000+ in warranty findings, removal of unnecessary services, and ensuring that labor hours were reasonable and logged accurately. Additionally, I ensured compliance with EPA and DOT regulations for company vehicles and reached out to appropriate Clean Harbors branch managers about vehicles with overdue or failed preventative maintenance services. I also assisted in training new employees in using the company’s internal website and in handling customer communication.

My initial position within this internship was that of a Business Operations Intern. In this role, I undertook a range of responsibilities, including creating content for the Green Scholar's social media, crafting letters for donor communications, and revising Seaside Sustainability's annual reports. In March 2023, I was promoted to the position of Marketing Research Department Manager. In this role, I spearheaded research collection and organization efforts involving 100+ interns to advance sustainability programs in middle and high school education by guiding interns through a systematic process to collect necessary data. As a part of my role, I led a three-member intern team, delegating tasks and coordinating collaborative efforts to ensure the successful execution of our research efforts.

In this role I was responsible for preparing the bakery, which would include decorating cakes, restocking supplies, and setting up equipment for the day as well as keeping track of inventory. I would also prepare hundreds of orders per shift and collaborate with a team of people to ensure timely completion of bakery and drink orders.

In this position I maintained building safety in university residential halls by monitoring resident traffic and followed protocols to resolve residential problems.

As a kitchen assistant, I worked in food prep, cooking, cleaning, and readily assisted where needed.

At Kohls, I engaged with customers and resolved customer concerns, as well as assisted in organizing the sales floor. I also trained new employees in customer service practices, sales practices, and secure cash handling to ensure standardized practices among staff.
