Alexandre Haddad M. Aebi is an economist from the University of São Paulo, a master's student in global development from the Harvard Extension School and part of the Operations team at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. Currently, he is responsible for the development and implementation of consultancy and pre-investment projects related to financial inclusion and climate in Latin America and the Caribbean. He was part of IFC's Country Manager team in Brazil for 4 years, monitoring pipeline, portfolio, developing long-term investment strategies, and developing strategic projects. Previously, he worked at the macroeconomic department at Itaú BBA and Prospectiva, a government relations consultancy. Alexandre is also the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion representative for IFC in Brazil and is interested in impact investing, public policy and ESG.
