Alexandre de Carlos Back, nascido em 1966 em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, é formado em engenharia elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1988) e possui especialização na área de Automação e Controle. Possui grande experiência em desenvolvimentos de sistemas computacionais, destacando-se o projeto e desenvolvimento de sistemas e equipamentos para automação industrial, para coleta de dados e redes de comunicação. Fundou a empresa Directa Automação Ltda em 1988, na qual exerceu atividades de desenvolvimento de sistemas, gerenciamento de grandes projetos e de produtos, sendo hoje o seu Diretor Presidente. A Empresa conquistou neste período a confiança de grandes empresas nacionais e multinacionais e se orgulha de ter no portfólio de clientes empresas de destaque. Em 2001 participou como sócio fundador de outra empresa de tecnologia, a Bry Tecnologia S.A., e que conquistou com cliente grandes empresas privadas e públicas, com o foco na oferta de produtos e serviços para garantir a confiança no uso de documentos eletrônicos.
