Telecommunication and electronic engineer by IST Portuguese University, started started is professional activity in 1989.In 1991, he started in the Home Automation business area, when he was administration assessor in construction promoter company.In 1993, he worked as a free lancer consultant and in 1997 he was invited to become Electronic Security Director in the Spanish security multinational PROSEGUR, job he performed till 1999.In 2000 he created his own company: XKT dedicated to special projects and electronic security system integration. Since 2004 till the end of 2009, he was external consultant of the biggest Portuguese security company: ESEGUR, being responsible for the "New Development Projects Department". In 2007, he published a technical book dedicated to electronic systems and home automation called: “The Inteligence that can be Installed”, sponsored by Siemens, Esegur, Honeywell, GE Security and his own company XKT.He's actually General Manager at XKT Integrated Security Solutions Ltd (www.xkt.pt) and dedicated in promoting consultancy security service providing in African countries.
