Talaris Limited is a new Company (spin off from De La Rue) owned by the Carlyle Group. I lead a Team of Project Managers and have a strong drive in Technology Sensing.

At De La Rue I was primarily involved in Managing Engineering Projects and heading a Sensors & Algorithms Group. In 2008 a major BU of De La Rue was sold to Carlyle to form a new independent Company - Talaris. I joined Talaris Limited together with the rest of the Swiss Engineering Center.

ITech Engineering AG (at the time) was a small Startup, specialized in Machine Vision. We developed Automation Solution in the context of Production (Automation) and QC. My main focus was Project Management and Business Development. I had, however, a strong involvement in Software Development - it was fun!

At Western Geophysical (now WesterGeco) I worked in the development of new imaging techniques in seismic exploration. In 2000 I left Western Geophysical to pursue a PhD. at the Colorado School of Mines.

During my Student years at ETH, I worked as a part time Software Engineer at Ziegler Consultants in order to help financing my Education (at the end I worked full time for one year before moving to the United States). I learned a great deal of Coding - Project Management - Marketing & Sales - and most importantly Startup Culture!
