• Assistant Lead Engineer (System Egineering Team) : April 2022 – Present - Lead the application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices to HRI projects including: ▪ Homogenize software project creations and project management through Agile software development practices and the Scrum framework ▪ Create standards for software documentation and packaging and establish guidelines for software verification through continuous integration (CI) and automated tests - Initiate a new system of periodic 1-on-1 meetings between System Engineering (SE) team members and team leads with the purpose of raising awareness of engineering efforts and improving individuals’ work efficiency - Facilitate information sharing and software learning among SE team members and the rest of HRI through the organization workshops on software tools and software practices• System Integration (Autonomous Driving Planning team) : March 2017 – Present - Research and development of intelligent decision making for autonomous vehicles. - Research and development of new trajectory planning algorithm based on optimization approaches like Motion Predictive Control (MPC). - Development of behavior planning handlers for pedestrians, traffic signs. - Development of a EKF/UKF sensor fusion framework. Implementation of a localization algorithm fusing GPS, odometry and lane positioning data. - Software integration for car controls via CAN bus communication and AD testing.• Human Machine Interface: Nov 2014 – March 2017 - Design and prototype applications for drivers to increase their safety and comfort using a volumetric 3D Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD). - Autonomous Vehicles HMI: Get both sensing and planning data from an autonomous vehicle and display the car’s understanding of its surroundings and future actions to enhance passengers’ comfort and peace of mind

Using a modular tactile system in the arm and in the future whole-body tactile feedback, help humans learn or relearn important body postures and motions. The main application of this project is stroke rehabilitation although it can be also useful for any kind of guidance such as sports training or dancing.
