CurrentCreated in 2010, UNDER THE POLE is a NGO which create underwater scientific expeditions dedicated to the exploration of mesophotic zones in extreme areas of the globe. Based on scientific research and innovation, we are raising awareness among public and private players, as well as future generations, by sharing our knowledge of this environment. Our 4th programme UNDER THE POLE IV - DEEPLIFE - 2021 - 2030 has been selected as the official programme of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences. We are criss-crossing the world's coastlines aboard the WHY, our oceanographic sailing vessel, in search of and to study marine animal forests, real hotspots of biodiversity that are little-known and little-protected today. As Head of Partnerships, I'm developing our collaborations with private players who want to get involved in preserving the environment. We are planning to develop a new expedition sailing boat, the WHY NOT, which will be dedicated to our activities and to preserving the oceans.
