Responsible for the annual re-certification of all aeronautical employees that perform wildlife management duties. Under a safe and controlled environment I re-educate my students on firearm safety and proper NRA shooting fundamentals.

Under the direction of the Assistant Chief Operations Supervisor (Aeronautical Operations) My responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following functions: * Ensure the efficient operation of the airport; communicate directly with aircraft operators, air traffic control and field supervisory staff to maintain safe and efficient aeronautical operations * Inspect all aeronautical areas in accordance with FAR Part 139 and submitting work orders to appropriate maintenance and contract staff for repairs as necessary * Perform regular Foreign Object Debris (FOD) inspections of airline cargo and terminal ramps * Issue Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS) * Maintain daily communication with airline operations and the FAA when NOTAMS are issued for runway and taxiway closures * Supervise subordinate staff in wildlife harassment and dispersal * Conduct nonlethal and lethal wildlife management activities as directed by the Airport Duty Manager or when there is not Wildlife Supervisor on duty, including removing debris from birdstrikes * Respond and assist in reporting airside incidents * Coordinate and direct the activities of subordinate staff during emergency situations * Communicate directly with aircraft operators, air traffic control and field supervisory staff to maintain safe and efficient aeronautical operations * Ensure a safe, well-maintained area for the operation of aircraft, ground service and other support vehicles and equipment * Communicate issues to affected parties relative to conditions on or affecting the Terminal ramp operations and the initiation of the necessary preventive/corrective measures to address these matters * Ensure compliance with FAA Part 139 and PA Rules and Regulations on the Airport Operations Agent * Coordinate general aviation activities and non-scheduled activities including requests for aircraft parking. * Perform any and all other duties requested by senior supervision and/or management.

As the FS-3 Control Desk Supervisor my primary functions are;• Supervise staff assigned to the LCC and Supervise monitoring of security systems. • The Landside Control Center is also the focal point for customer, airline, tenant inquiries and service requests. • Perform monitor coordination, and communications functions involving operations, revenue, safety, and security systems: Emergency Call Box, Public Address & Audio-Visual Paging systems, High Speed Notification System (HSNS), Fire Alarm Display system, customer advisory (Info-Alert) system, and airport Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).• Coordinate necessary actions to alleviate operational problems.• Monitor and respond as necessary to resolve operational, equipment, employee and customer emergencies. • Coordinating duties related to airlines and police personnel to assist customers and others who experience problems. • Record daily inspection results and other activities and events in the Computerized Airport Log System (CALS).

• Ability to organize and direct subordinate staff in the performance of varied operational functions.• Comprehensive knowledge and supervisory experience in aeronautical and ramp operations; knowledge of necessary terminology, safety practices and procedures, including demonstrated experience in the formulation of appropriate corrective actions for unsafe conditions. • Respond promptly and appropriately to security systems, reports of security breaches and other security incidents.

As the FS-3 Wildlife Supervisor my duties included; • Ensuring FAR Part 139 mandated Wildlife Hazard Management Program, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Control Program and various other aeronautical functions, including Remain Over Night (RON) aircraft surveys, Airport Operations Area (AOA) access gate control, and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) contract compliance. • Collected bird remains from aircraft strikes and complete FAA strike reports.• Depredated wildlife on airport grounds and properly discarded remains. • Assisted the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in conducting Wildlife Survey’s for Newark Liberty International Airport. • Experienced in runway snow removal for EWR as well as acting as the snow coordinator for the AERO Snow contract and working closely with Terminal B staff to assist in snow removal. • Able to respond to declared airport emergencies including snow alerts and report to work without delay. • Performed periodic airport aeronautical ramp, fuel farm and perimeter security inspections in accordance with 49 CFR Part 1542. • Monitored construction activities and ensured that construction equipment such as cranes did not interfere with airport operations. • Recorded daily inspections results and other activities and events in the Computerized Airport Log System (CALS).

Worked rotating shifts and provided an (24-hour) presence at the New Jersey Marine Terminal Operations Control Center to address the needs of tenants, customers, general public and responded to declared port emergencies. Specific responsibilities included: • Tracking and recording barge activity at public berths for billing purposes. • Reconciled barge activity with customers. • Requested tracking certifications of barge length to ensure audit compliance. • Tracked and logged rail car activity for billing purposes in accordance with marine terminal tariff and tenant leases. • Administering the public berth application system. • Monitored motor vehicle movements throughout the facility. • Monitored NJMT facility activities by conducting field inspections of public berths, intermodal operations and tenant areas. • Monitored facility CCTV system, controlling cameras manually and through programming, logging and immediately reporting suspicious/illegal activity to PAPD, logging and reporting technical problems to PA Maintenance. • Communicating directly with vessel agents, tenants, outside agencies, other PA units, contractors, field supervisory staff and other customers to maintain safe and secure operations.• Unlocked gates for personnel to permit vessel operations and secured gates at the conclusion of vessel operations. • Ensured all operations were conducted in accordance with the Facility Security Plan and all contractors adhered to access control procedures. • Provided oversight of contracted security guards assigned to public berths when ships were scheduled to arrive. • Notified proper authorities in emergency situations and coordinated with PA personnel and first responders in accordance with the Emergency Operations Plan. • Performed emergency notification to senior facility staff of significant incidents or events.• Acted as the Facility Manager's representative during evening and weekend shifts.

Under the supervision of the Landside Control Center Supervisor, while assigned to the Landside Control Center I worked hands on with the following: utilized the airport Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to monitor a 360 degree view of airport landside and airside operations. Working hands on with the LLC supervisor I assisted in performing important monitoring, security decision-making, coordination with PA Police, and communications functions with respect to the following operations: safety and security systems. Maintained a working knowledge of the High Speed Notification System (HSNS); Fire Alarm Display system; customer advisory (Info-Alert) system. Worked alongside the Customer Care Representatives throughout theTerminals. As a contract Security supervisor at EWR my responsibilities included: inspecting all facilities, AOA access gates and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, cleanliness and also required to monitor and supervise up to 30 agents on assigned shift.
