- Leading a team of 23 quality engineers and 2 supervisors, responsible for Advanced Projects, as well as Current Products and Warranty process for Safety Components, Appearance Items, functional and critical parts;- Responsible for Exterior Commodities: Injected plastics, Painted and Chromed parts, Blow molding, Weatherstrips, HVAC/PTC Hoses, Mounts, Bushings, Fuel Tanks, Reservoirs, Glasses, Mirrors,Door Handles, Emblems, Sealers, Tires, Vaccum Pipes, Lighting, Locksets, Window Regulators and Wipers;- Responsible for Electrical and Thermal Commodities: Electronic Modules, Clusters, Switches, Radios, Wiring Harness, Batteries, Generators, Speakers, Horns, CRFM and HVAC Modules, Compressors, Sensors, Antennas, Amplifiers and Relays;- Leader for the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process on all GM Gamma Vehicle Platform launches (Onix, Prisma,Spin and Cobalt) and Face Lifts Projects for Cruze and S10. Achievements in these areas include outstanding results in current products quality performance (ie. GCA and PPM reduction - supplier related) and warranty which enabled GM to reach the first place in the market in terms of Sales;- Leader for the APQP process of the new generation of Global Emerging Market vehicles (GEM – New Onix), with three launches occurring simultaneously (from Sep/19 to Jan/20). Excellent results on program launch performance including the best Global Costumer Audits (GCA – supplier related) and supplier quality performance ever, through disciplined adherence to Global APQP, BIQs (Built in Quality Suppliers) strategy implementation, tooling pull aheads and focus on launch excellence;- Managed the start up of 9 brand new suppliers (Brownfields), including Chinese companies having business outside China for the first time. An immense challenge performed flawlessly without any disruption for the new Onix launch on Sep/19;

- Responsible for cost reduction process opportunities identification and analysys, supporting Purchasing with cost reduction alternatives, avoiding price increases and enabling price revision on contracts. True cost analysis of wiring harnesses mitigating risk of price increase. Process opportunities on HVAC modules obtaining a significant annual cost reduction in the contracts to GM South America.

- GM Holden Australia: Lot sampling process implementation to local and overseas parts due to quality issues on VE/WM (new Commodore) launch phase. Superb improvement on purchased parts quality;- GM China: Specialist SQE for Exterior plastic parts team, responsible for “on the job training” to new SQEs (APQP tools application, PPAP submission on supplier facilities,Top Focus and QSB). PPAP and R@R (Run at Rate) execution for parts to be exported to South America, working on suppliers process improvement. Support to N200 Project Launch at SGMW (Shanghai GM Wuling), responsible for problem solving and manufacturing/quality process improvement at suppliers, to eliminate quality issues at SGMW plant.

- Responsible for Current Projects/Warranty activities for Thermal systems (HVAC/PTC), reducing PPM and IPTV, through accurated FMEA analysis, focus on robustness of process control plan, poka yokes implementation and continuous improvement;- Responsible for APQP activities to Thermal Systems, Latches, Closures and Switches. Participation from concept phase of products, developing robust processes until the implementation of GM´s new programs at suppliers, through PFMEA, PCP, PPAP and R@R approvals. Major launches in that period: Meriva, Zafira, Vectra, new Celta, Astra, Corsa S4200 and Corsa S4300;- Implementation and certification of QSB (Quality System Basics) at suppliers through process audits, sharing best practices and systemic follow up.
