In this position I Collaborated with other teachers, BCBA, Paraeducators, and registered behavior technicians (RBT) to develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) Behavior Plans, and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students with behavior and communication needs. I Created and updated IEPs to reflect students progress and development while abiding by all confidentiality laws in accordance with FERPA. I Used differentiated instruction, applied behavior analysis (ABA), assistive technology, problem solving, and multi-sensory lesson planning to meet students needs. I also Lead a team of 6 RBTs providing behavioral instructional supports, lesson plans, and individualized training.

I helped to develop a new program using the Essentials for Living curriculum. I Collaborated with the Lead Teacher to created materials and lesson plans that are both Age and skill-level appropriate for learners. I also Participated on a crisis intervention team and practiced using CPI techniques.
