Early developer on NVIDIA's CUDA technology (I was part of the original 200 developers invited to experiment with their new GPU computing platform): as an AI researcher in the LISA laboratory of the University of Brussels and in partnership with Zetes Industries, a global leader in People & Identity solutions, I developed novel Machine Learning techniques to process millions of fingerprint images on GPUs with a 35x performance per $ increase over existing CPU-bound and sequential algorithms.

In a partnership between ULB and Zetes, I developed new algorithms for parallel computing and comparison of massive fingerprint signatures databases using Nvidia's CUDA GPGPU framework. I trained GPU's to process images of fingerprints at a 35x performance per $ increase over traditional CPU-based algorithms using Nvidia's brand new CuDA capable CPU - the revolutionary NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

I founded Infosoft in 2000 at the age of 18 to develop and distribute shareware applications for Mac OS X online before the Mac App Store and the iOS App Store were even a dream. I handled the development, marketing & distribution of our flagship product MOX Optimize, a software utility in the very early days of Mac OS X (10.1, 10.2, 10.3) that gathered a large (30,000+) fan base, rave reviews (including one in a Japanese magazine which I've kept - they sent me a copy!) and strong sales worldwide using early internet distribution (versiontracker.com and MacUpdate.com). International online payments were in their infancy - the days of Kagi and mailed-in cheques. I received a few postcards with cash enclosed in aluminium foil. Paypal was a revolution. Good times.
