Junior Enterprises Belgium is the Belgian Federation of Junior Enterprises. Our ethos is simple: fostering entrepreneurship among students through the promotion of the Junior Enterprise concept.A Junior Enterprise is a nonprofit organization entirely managed by students from a university or a college delivering consulting services to companies and entrepreneurs allowing the students to enlarge their experience on the professional market.As the Vice-President, I am responsible for enlarging our network and handling our communication as well as the larger mission of fostering student entrepreneurship in Belgium by being administrator of a 500+ student network.

As Quality Manager, my main goal is to help all Junior Enterprises achieve the highest levels of professionalism in the projects they deliver to their clients, while ensuring a pedagogical added-value to their members.

Being head of a department composed of 11 consultants is a completely different experience than being a junior. I have the opportunity and the responsibility to set goals, together with my department, and achieve them through helping the members of my department as the members of all the Junior Enterprise develop themselves. Doing this is bringing me a lot of experience in managing people and organizing myself.

As a Junior Consultant in the Human Resources department my job consisted in lots of different tasks.On the internal human side our main goal is insure the quality of the human experience at LSM Conseil. An example of this is the member evaluations we implement for the members.As every Human Resources department we invest a lot of time in recruitment. Having more than 120 candidates for less than 30 places we have to develop a very objective and professional recruitment process.Finally, we organize intern trainings for the members of LSM Conseil. These trainings are given by our partners like McKinsey&Company & Amaris.On the external (campus) side we organize lots of trainings for all the students of the UCL (Excel, LinkedIn, CV, Stock exchange, Photoshop, WordPress & LateX).Beside this we invite some professors or special guests to give lectures to the students on different subjects like CSR and entrepreneurship.Last but not least we organize the LSM Cup (N°1 CSR business game in Europe). This event gathers more than 160 students to solve real cases proposed by multinational companies. I got the chance to organize this event once as a Junior Consultant and once as the head of Human Resources.
