Profile bio

About Alexandre Besson

Hi,My name is Alexandre Besson, I was born in Paris, but 15 years ago I decided to move to Asia. Today, my mission is to help entrepreneurs find the balance that allows them to live life to the fullest. My career started in 2003 in the fashion world after studying design and textile industry. I worked my way up to key positions. Then came the opportunity to manage a client's buying office in Hong Kong. It was an intense time, and I'd like to share three key elements of that experience with you.At the time, I was working more than 70 hours a week, leaving very little time for my family. Every night I would come home late, exhausted, with only the joy of kissing my son, who was already asleep. My relationship with my wife was strained because I was rarely around and she literally felt neglected.Despite thriving sales activity, we spent our time fighting with our suppliers over prices to maintain our margins and responding to tenders that brought us almost nothing.Team turnover was constant, with resignations every month in every department. We had to hire all the time, and I couldn't take it anymore because I was spending my time training people who didn't stay, which put our operations at risk.My mental load was at maximum, I was stressed, I slept extremely poorly, and every morning I went to the office with a lump in my stomach. But a meeting with a Business Facilitator was the turning point. I discovered strategies to overcome these challenges. In 9 months, I transformed the Asia office, multiplying its annual revenue from $700,000 to over $7 million in 5 years. The method helped me achieve so much that i decided to join IMPACTIFIED. Today I put my experience at the service of entrepreneurs. After 12 month of training, I offer workshops and individual programs to help companies transform. So if you feel trapped in your business, stressed, not enjoying life or the people you love, it's time to take action. We often tend to think we're alone, but I'm here to help you reenergize and turn your challenges into opportunities so you can finally live the life you deserve. The best advice I can give you is to send me a private message. I'd love to hear your story and maybe help you write the next chapter of your success!Let's Talk!

I was in charge of a team of 15 people (Designers, Product Developers and Merchandisers)To increase sales through additional catalogs, I reorganized the workflow, RASCI matrix, approval process, and schedules for different teams, enabling a seamless transition from 6 to 8 catalogs per year. We designed and developed 150 new references every six weeks, significantly contributing to the company's growth.Utilizing my merchandising skills, I analyzed data from catalogs, identified product fatigue, and channeling issues. Restructuring product offerings and consolidating volumes across three main categories allowed us to negotiate better purchase prices and led to an 16% increase in turnover while maintaining the same number of units sold.In order to assist the design team in generating 150 new designs every six weeks, I translated the Design Director's guidance for each product line and category into concise briefs, considering market trends three catalogs in advance. This forward-thinking approach to product design enabled the team to effectively accomplish their assignments, ensuring our brand maintained a competitive edge in the industry. Show less

Our products were manufactured in Italy and sold worldwide in countries like Japan, the Philippines, the USA, and South America. During these four years, I focused on denim product development, wash design, and product fitting. I successfully developed the contemporary Legend Line by sourcing Turkish denim and manufacturing in North Africa, leading to 2 million Euros in sales within 36 months. I collaborated with Jeanologia to develop innovative, sustainable wash techniques like Laser and Ozone methods, creating 16 unique wash concepts for the men's collection. Five of these were showcased at the prestigious Pitti Uomo fashion event.Assisting Francois Girbaud during fitting sessions, I've measured and corrected over 250 products per season, collaborating with pattern makers and designing tech packs to ensure optimal fit. This is crucial in the Jeanswear market, where poorly fitting products won't sell especially when women account for over 75% of textile purchases. I’ve learned a lot and take pride in contributing to the success of this iconic brand. Show less
