The Étude sur le devenir des jeunes placés (EDJeP) is the largest study ever conducted in Canada on the transition of young people leaving youth protection (DPJ). It was the flagship project of the CREVAJ Research Chair. My skills in quantitative social sciences were mobilized to direct all the Chair's quantitative research operations, including the EDJeP project. Here are some key points:- I provided strategic leadership throughout all stages of data collection, management, and analysis for a panel research project involving a cohort of over 1100 youth. We conducted a series of three quantitative surveys through face-to-face interviews, making this project the largest of its kind ever conducted in Canada.- I led the recruitment, training, and supervision of a data analysis team consisting of up to 8 employees.- I managed the data collection infrastructure and databases, including administrative and confidential information from the Quebec government.- I established and maintained essential partnerships with external organizations, including Quebec government ministries and community organizations, to facilitate the acquisition of operational data.- I oversaw the design of multiple survey questionnaires and organized five data collections.- I led data analysis and utilized R for the analyses conducted by the team.- I communicated research results through seven reports with high media visibility, referenced by the Special Commission on the Rights of Children and Youth Protection (Laurent Commission), as well as four peer-reviewed scientific articles and two book chapters.

My specialization in survey research and public opinion has led me to play a strategic role in a research project on social assistance policies in Quebec. This work ran parallel to my main job as head of the EDJeP quantitative team at ÉNAP. In this role, I was called upon to do the following:- Directed all aspects of the public opinion component of a 3-year project on Quebecers' perceptions of social assistance programs.- Developed the survey questionnaires, managed the two data collections and coordinated the project with all external partners.- Led all data analysis using R Stats.- Communicated research findings in 4 peer-reviewed scientific publications.

Between 2019 and 2023, alongside my main role as the head of the quantitative team at ÉNAP, I undertook consulting assignments for various organizations and businesses. During these assignments, I accomplished the following tasks:- Complete design of 2 survey questionnaires aimed at measuring customer engagement, which were then administered to over 8000 respondents by an external firm.- Creation of indicators focused on customer needs and survey questions to measure them.- Analysis of survey data using R.- Presentation of the results to clients in the form of concise reports and client meetings.
