Responsibilities held within this role include taking lead responsibility for all marketing and design for health and fitness and swimming, supporting the implementation and evolvement of a new website and ensuring this is as attractive and as functional as possible, improving customer communications through web based and email marketing, taking lead responsibility for social media (devising and implementing a strategy) within the organisation and writing press releases when the need arises.

This marketing placement at Salford Community Leisure (SCL) saw me supporting the organisations marketing needs, with particular reference to supporting social media accounts and web based marketing. I supported the graphic designer in all elements of internal design and have raised the standard of material produced to ensure high standards are always maintained. Copy and design for websites has been produced, brands have been developed along with brand manuals, both print and online.
