I am a book designer and editorial art-director, working with illustrated non-fiction publications. I design titles on visual culture, art, architecture and design. I am very familiar with illustrated book production workflows and complex editorial projects involving authors, illustrators, photographers and other stakeholders. I work with trade titles, carefully considering their place in the bookshop alongside their competition and how they would feel as an object.I am technically curious and very skilled with design tools. My work often takes inspiration from finishes and paper. I have a deep love and understanding of typography and printing techniques, but I also possess a strong interest in interface design and general trends that steer contemporary cultural production.Founder of Fora Press.
