As a Rehabilitation Technician, I ensure that every patient I work with receives the most out of their time in therapy. I do so by providing physical and occupational therapists with a safe and prepared environment to treat our in-patient population. Common diagnosis include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. I assist in providing interventions such as locomotor training, neuromuscular re-education, standing tolerance, bed and wheelchair mobility, casting, and family education.As a NeuroRecovery Network Technician, along with a team consisting of therapists and technicians, I provide locomotor training to clients involved in current research.

Involved mainly in the aquatic therapy department, I carried-out patient-specific plans in the pool under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. I educated patients on the role of aquatic therapy and instructed proper form for each of their exercises.
