As project manager at Fundación Valenciaport, I am closely linked to the fields of digital transformation in ports, process reengineering and Port Community Systems (PCS). This link to the port and logistics' business has allowed me to assume the coordination of the Valenciaport's Innovation Committee, supporting more than 15 companies in their innovation initiatives. Within the digital transformation process of the Port Authority of Valencia, I am currently engaged in a European project which intends to deploy a new IoT Platform (PI System) to integrate different port data sources with the aim of being more competitive and environmentally responsible. Moreover, as a Business Analyst, I am involved in the design of new services at ValenciaportPCS, performing requirements gathering tasks, UML/BPMN modeling and user story definition in the Azure DevOps Server. Some of the services in which I have participated include the Railway Capacity Manager, the Positioning/Inspection service, the Customs' control application or the Container seal delivery service. The knowledge and experience acquired in the port of Valencia has allowed me to participate in several IT consultancies for other international ports such as Paraná (Brasil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Callao (Peru), San Antonio (Chile), Pelindo I (Indonesia) and Port Botany (Australia). I combine my professional activity with the publication of articles in specialized newspapers and magazines such as Port Technology or Port Strategy, where I try to reflect my vision on some trends in the logistics-port sector. I also give training in specialized courses for different univiersities.
