As an IT Specialist at AGCO IT, I represent a contact point between multiple business area representatives and the IT department in developing new projects. More specifically, I look after a number of systems that integrate AGCO with its Dealers globally (Global Dealer Integrations team). Progressively moving towards the role of Senior Applications Engineer (CAM), I was responsible for conducting the deliveries of software projects for aided manufacturing. This position allowed me to bridge the gap between our development team and multiple stakeholders from different areas of the technical staff. My role involved the continuous generation of technical specifications, while strategically prioritizing and addressing development tasks. In addition, I was responsible for intensively testing the system with different strategies to ensure high-quality deliveries based on the Agile framework. By the end of this experience, I was responsible for maintaining and developing the post-processor templates of Edgecam; therefore, becoming knowledgeable in most CNC controller programming languages (ISO, TNC, Siemens), for multiple manufacturing cycles (milling, turning, additive), in machines with multiple axes being controlled simultaneously. In addition, I had the opportunity to provide mentorship and support to our technical support engineers, enabling others to excel in their roles.

After completing an exchange program in the United States, I resumed my role at Vero Software, which has since been rebranded to Hexagon, as a Technical Support Engineer. In this capacity, my primary focus was on post processors, where I played a role in providing comprehensive technical support to our global partners in the development and optimization of post processors for our cutting-edge CAM software, EDGECAM.

As an engineering intern, I played a role in the after-sales operations of a traditional tractor manufacturer. This role allowed me to comprehensively understand customer service within the industry. I worked on various tasks, including technical issue resolution, product inspection, and warranty analysis. This experience enhanced my technical skills, emphasizing the importance of aftersales support in bringing customer experience information back to engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
