I am a passionate, resilient Purdue Engineer who graduated in 2024. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and double minors in Business Economics and Manufacturing. I am always seeking opportunities in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and economics to develop intellectually and gain more skillsets that I can use as an engineer.Through my previous internship at an OEM, specializing in food processing equipment, I was able to witness the impact my work had on individuals in my community, especially during a global pandemic. Such experience has led to my increased desire to innovate, reach others, and create a team dynamic in the workplace. During my time there, I was able to build relationships, impact others, and progress as an engineer. This was done through collaborative problem solving, facilitating communications between departments, and inclusion of all perspective and opinions. As a student and engineer at Purdue, I have been immersed in challenging environments to stimulate innovation, communication, leadership, and resilience. Strategic thinking is critical while being faced with challenges. I have grown to see a holistic approach to a problem, while also collaborating with different perspectives. This is crucial when creating efficient, but innovative solutions in problem-solving scenarios specifically within group-based projects. From a young age, I was always tinkering with my father, whether it be on our cars, helping with home improvements, or out of curiosity about how things work. From this, I have always been inclined towards two things: education and helping others. Pursuing a career in STEM allows me to combine both of my passions to create a better individual, team, and a better world. I hope this demonstrates more of who I am as an engineer!
