Maintain greenhouse crops, plant/flower by watering, treat plants for pest and disease, and remove dead leaves from plants. Assist customers with plant selection ideas for gardening and landscaping projects. Advise customers on plant and hardscape care. Load plants, hardscape and/or soil to customer’s vehicles. Organization of greenhouse plants and hardscape goods. Cashier duties.

Monitor the usage of the facility, exercise equipment, and programs during hours of operations. This includes: developing and/or implementing fitness & wellness programs, assisting in the daily maintenance and cleaning of the equipment and facility, ensuring safety and security for our staff and members, and enforcing all policies and procedures of the Lake Waynoka Health and Recreation Center.

Oversee all digital aspects of advertising, including but not limited to posters and flyers in university buildings, specifically posters created for the SPB-owned poster displays and flyers to be posted across campus bulletin boards and restrooms. Also, oversee all aspects of creative advertisements including but not limited to sidewalk chalk, magnets, cups, napkin holder inserts, painting of the SSU Spirit Rock, and banners. Design and distribute advertising for events at least one week in advance. Work outside the box to promote events. The digital and mixed media advertising chair works cohesively with the Executive Board to promote events through social media.

An RA has many roles and responsibilities, including building a residential community through programming, acting as a mentor for students, being a familiar first resource for students with academic or institutional questions, and enforcing residence policies. RAS assist residents with problem solving or refer them to counseling resources. Above all, a resident assistant must be an example and uphold professional and personal accountability as outlined by the institution.A major component of the job is not only creating a community, but also ensuring safety for all by participating in nightly community walks. Other duties held by RAS outside of community building and programming can include: ordering supplies, managing a budget, and determining need for maintenance, repairs, and furnishings.

Store Clerks provide assistance to customers and handle various duties such as operating the cash register, greeting customers, helping people locate products, doing paperwork, stocking shelves, and maintaining the store clean and organized.
