I have recently graduated from Whitworth University with a B.A. in Psychology and an emphasis in Sociology.I had worked in professional childcare for 3 years. This allowed me to build many interpersonal relationships with children and their families. I have learned to balance care for multiple children and their needs, establish plans for children with behavioral issues, de-escalate tense situations, and establish proper communication between myself, other staff, and parents/guardians, among many other skills. I have also worked in customer service and sales and now carry the skills I have learned in customer relations into my daily life by focusing on organization, customer satisfaction, and goal-oriented tasks.I currently work as a Registered Behavioral Technician, providing ABA services to clients with diagnosed developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through this role I have been able to cultivate great relationships, provide direct care for individuals, and assist them in reaching their cognitive, behavioral, and social goals.
