I was member of the Careers Fair committee and my responsibilities included contactingguest lecturers and related organizations and organizing the advertisement campaign(incl. designing Posters etc.)

I took part in a laboratory research project on the effect of chemical entities on smooth muscle cells as a means to develop a cardiotoxicity surrogate model. Responsibilities/Techniques learned: Sterile technique, cell culture, RNA extraction and quality evaluation with Nanodrop and Bioanalyzer,

I took part in a research project concerning the performance of epileptic patients in an extended battery of neuropsychological tests. My responsibilities included scanning/digitalizing medical records, extracting relevant data and then helping to a certain level with their their codification in order to build a database for statistical analysis.

My principle responsibility was to prepare consumables for sterilization but I also observed and learned standard laboratory procedures such as DNA isolation, PCR, cultures and others.
