Very thankful for the exceptional expertise he gained at a first class University in Austria where he graduated (A graded) a specific Bachelor and Master degree in IT-Security and Risk Management.During the studies he supported the German Government for Information Security (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik - BSI) and their German Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-BUND) as well as the department for Internet Security.Besides his work as an IT Security consultant Alexandros invented a special IT Security and Network Training (Jump Start) for Accenture. The overwhelming positive feedback was the starting point of his speaking and trainer career.As IT-Audit Manager at HSBC - one of the largest international banks in the world - he gained an overarching corporate IT (Security) expertise and skillset that enabled him to successfully face his next demanding roles as Head of IT-Security and Head of Identity & Access Management at HSBC Germany.While newly establishing the divisions IT-Security and Identity & Access Management at HSBC, Alexandros additionally took over responsibility of two key projects of the bank (Privileged Access Management and Cyber Security).These key projects implemented new and enhanced existing Cyber Security and IAM processes, people and technology significantly. Alexandros founded Apollon Security because he wanted to share his experience and knowledge to further companies and support them to enhance their cyber security maturity. He also created Apollon Security because he wanted to create a working space that contains his personal values. Another important reason was to be able to work with the best people in the industry in one company. Alexandros regularly speaks and trains across all Cyber Security and IAM topics. He loves explaining complex things in simple words with illustrating analogies enabling non-IT people and executives an appreciative understanding.Alexandros is also lecturer for Cyber Security at the FOM University where he teaches students specifically about Cyber Attacks. He not only teaches them theory but also relies on a lot of practical experience and teaches the students more importantly the practical side of cyber attacks.
