I am part of the diagnosis team at Harman through Luxoft, I perform software validation for VWG Infotainment System and Telematics ECUs. Responsibilities:• Testing the diagnosis capabilities of the ECU.• Creation and maintaining the diagnostics test cases and test plans based on requirements/specifications.• Ticket creation and verification for software diagnosis issues, supporting log files and data.• Diagnosis of functional safety responsible for the Infotainment ECU, I make sure the software complies with the ISO26262 and safety requirements.• Configure the system under test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.• Perform test drives.• Configure and run automated tests.• Records, processes, and analyses data with PC-based tools and test instrumentation.Tools used: VW ODIS Engineering, Vector, CanOE, DOORS, ALM, various consoles, Jira, Confluence, HTA (Harman Trace Analyser).

I was part of the diagnostic team at Renault through Expleo, responsible for implementing DTC codes and repair methods on the Renault tester. Responsibilities:• Coding specific system states, parameters, actuators, commands, and configurations that can help the technician in making the diagnosis and configuration of the ECU.• Analysis of input documents for a vehicle system.• Initialisation of the production plan.• Integrating the DTCs to be displayed on the diagnostic tester.• Development of diagnostic methods and before/after repair methods.• Testing the functionality of the DTCs and the resources used.• Treatment of incidental problems related to the production of the Renault tester (wrong display, missing methods, etc.)For a while, I was also a support for the DST/RTT team for testing the basic functionality of ECU diagnostics.Tools used: Grade-X, Phenix (Windchill and Arbortext), Docing (Envoia), DDT2000, Runtime.
