About Alex Arkhangelskiy

My mission is to create beautiful and functional products that solve real problems. Current project, Brake Free, aims to help solve the visibility problem plaguing motorcycle and scooter riders everywhere. Riders are in great danger because of their inherent lack of visibility. The current trends make already small brake lights on motorcycles even smaller. Existing products miss the mark in several ways; they are either lacking in style, functionality or ease of use. We are using technology and design to solve this problem. Our solution is an elegant and simple to use accessory that mounts to any style helmet. We are using cutting edge ultra slim LED technology to dramatically improve the riders visibility. Our design aesthetics allow it to become a part of the rider's helmet, a seamless integration. Brake Free has been my labor of love for the past 3 years. It allowed me to gain experience in project management, team management, fund raising, networking, industrial design, digital and online marketing, sales, budgeting, prototyping, and so much more.
