For FormFactor, I worked with the cryogenic unit to continue advancing technologies in the cryogenic and quantum computing industries. As a cryogenic test engineering intern, I designed a new liquid nitrogen exhaust system for rapid-cool cryostats. I also worked on designing and testing shipping crates for populated control racks.

High Precision Devices is a company that designs and manufactures high precision instruments for a number of applications, specializing in the cryogenic industry. As a returning mechanical engineering intern, I helped design and implement MRI Phantoms for their partnering company, CaliberMRI. I designed a Luminal Water Imaging (LWI) Phantom for prostate cancer research, designed a COVID Pediatric Brain Phantom for COVID research in NIH Laboratories, and redesigned Brain, Breast, and Prostate MRI Imaging Phantoms for better manufacturability.

As a mechanical engineering intern, I designed a High Tc superconducting leads assembly for Continuous ADR Cryostat, designed and tested a tool for the manufacturing process of contrast spheres for MRI Phantoms, and designed a thermal strap for Silicon Wafer Testing Cryostat. I also worked on redlines to make revisions on parts and assemblies.

GlobeImmune is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing products for the treatment of cancer and other infectious diseases. I oversaw transition to a new Rees platform for production and laboratory facilities and equipment cooling, humidity control and differential pressure monitoring. The new system increased production efficiency, captured and displayed performance data, and enabled a more elaborate notification process for response to alarm situations. I was responsible for documentation of the Rees system and training laboratory and manufacturing employees.

The Innovation Center is an entrepreneurial zone for St. Vrain Valley School District students to teach other students about robotics and work directly with local businesses on a variety of robotics initiatives. As a student instructor, I created an introductory to programming curriculum using the Nao & Bibli robots. I taught 3 sessions of the course to over 80 elementary school students. As a student designer I worked with Robauto through the Innovation Center. Robauto is a robotics company that partnered with the Innovation Center to begin a global effort to accelerate innovation in robotics and A.I. by providing a low-cost and powerful robotics platform. I designed, built, and soldered the Bibli robot and electronics with a team of about 10 people. I also created an instructions manual for building the robot and a course for the Innovation Center to teach students about engineering and robotics through the Bibli robot.
