•Responsibilities included working at the State Capital Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. I took notes for committees, set up meetings, ran errands, and assisted representatives in daily activities.•Issues/Project Assignments: I was on the Local Government Committee, Appropriations (JFAC) and Commerce and Human Resources. I was involved in the Eminent Domain Bill, Chemical Abortion Bill, Add the Words Bill, Horseracing verse Gambling Bill, and the Cannabidiol Oil Bill. I gained a better understanding of how our government works.•I now have a great appreciation for our representatives and senators and their time and effort put into the great state of Idaho
