During this internship, I was responsible for creating a project management application using the QuickBase platform to holistically fit the BI team's needs while ensuring development pipeline best practices. I met with each team member individually to understand their problems and barriers with the existing project management tool to create a plan of action. As I created the application, I met with team members again to showcase the iterations and obtain feedback. I also worked with the Data Modeler to learn how the Cognos data sources / OLAP cubes were connected and incorporate them into the Quickbase application. This allowed for a check-in, check-out mechanism for existing data sources that helped maintain productivity and data integrity.Once complete, I presented the application to the team with a real-time example and provided explanations on how to update as requirements changed.
