Spring 2023 graduate from the University of Iowa’s Master of Arts in Library and Information Science program. Spring 2018 graduate from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in English on the Publishing Track, and a minor in Communication Studies. While an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa, I was involved in developing the inaugural Iowa Chapbook Prize series. My responsibilities included selecting and editing manuscripts, designing physical copies of selected chapbooks, and communicating frequently with authors. During this time, my poetry was also published in the spring 2018 edition of Fools, a student-run magazine.From September 2016 to present, I have worked at The TUESDAY Agency, an independent lecture agency in Iowa City. I began as an intern, which allowed me to gain great experience in editing, marketing, and social media management. After graduation, I was hired as an editorial assistant, then Junior Agent, and, as of 2023, I currently hold the role of Senior Agent. In this role, I work closely with authors, publishers, non-profits, universities, libraries, and more to coordinate literary programming with our exclusive roster of speakers. In 2023, I was hired as a part-time Library Assistant at the North Liberty Library in North Liberty, Iowa.
